Miranda: I shared my childhood with lots of dogs and a cat here and there in our Richmond home. I started working at Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital in December of 2013. My favorite part of my job is working with such knowledgeable veterinarians. I have enjoyed running our OSHA program and being the AAHA housekeeping supervisor. In the future I plan on expanding my knowledge by attending Macomb Community College to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. At home, my husband and I have three dogs; Dexter is a Plott Hound mix, Frank is a Beagle/ Spaniel mix, Gino is a Wire Fox Terrier, two cats: domestic shorthair cat Meegan and domestic shorthair cat Kevin, and our Russian Tortoise Jeffrey. I love my animals, they make life very entertaining. In my free time I enjoy remodeling homes, gardening, spending time with my family, and exercising with my pups. I look forward to continue to further my education and learning as much as I can at a job that I love!

Eddie: I have had pets in my home since before I was born, and have never been without at least one animal in my home. I started at WWVH in 2014 as an Animal Assistant after graduating high school and after viewing my first surgical procedure decided that I wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. In 2016 I was accepted to the Macomb Community College Veterinary Technician program, and am currently a second year student expecting to graduate in May 2018. I have a special interest in surgery and anesthesia/analgesia, and research laboratory medicine. I have completed an internship at an emergency and specialty practice, and will be starting an internship at the Beaumont Hospital Research Institute after the new year. I have a pet dog named Sophie, who is a German shepherd mix rescued from Utah. I have three cats, Keltos, Rocket, and Booster, and additionally I have four rats named Hughbert, Charlie, Frank, and Crowely. I am a member of the Michigan Association of Veterinary Technicians, and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians. When I have any time left after going to class, studying, or working, I play drums in a progressive metal band, and produce hip-hop songs with my brother.

Sara: I grew up in Richmond, Michigan and have always wanted to work with animals. I've always had a true love and passion for all animals. I've grown up with all sorts of pets such as dogs named Stryder and Klohe, cats named Mork, Mindy and Charlie, two cockatiel birds named Georgia and Louisiana, a rabbit named Snowflake, hamsters and fish. I am proud parent of two cats named Snowpaws and Cheddar. Snowpaws I adopted from my Grandpa after my Great Grandma passed away and Cheddar I found as a stray. I used to work at a doggy daycare, boarding facility and spa and wanted to further my experience working with animals. Growing up I've always wanted to be a veterinarian. Although I am not a veterinarian, I am very happy with my position as an animal assistant and may further my experience even more. My family and I love camping and spending time outdoors together. In my spare time, I love watching movies, going for walks, going up north to visit my family, jigsaw puzzles, drawing and hanging out with my kids (cats).

Brittney: I have always had a love for animals and wanted to work with them. Growing up in Fraser with 2 cats is where my love for animals really became something I wanted to have a career in. I became part of the Warren Woods Veterinary Hospital team in February 2017. Before working at Warren Woods I was a server. I feel so blessed and lucky to be a part of such a great team. Getting to know the clients and their pets is also very rewarding. I currently live in Clinton Township with my boyfriend, Justin and sassy cat, Oliver. In my free time I like to spend time with family and friends.

Kevin: I grew up in Detroit and started working at Northeast Veterinary Hospital in 1978. I was still in high school at that time and graduated that June from Osborn High School. I have always had dogs in my life. I got my first cat as a stray in June 1978. I enjoy exotic pets also. I got my first ferret and three rats in 2009. Today I have two parrots, a cat, and a ferret.  After high school I was still working at the vet hospital as an Animal Assistant with Dr. Steven Steep DVM. In 1980 I started college at Wayne County Community College (WCCC). I finished at Macomb County Community College (MCCC) in 1990 with 90 credit hours and an Associates of Arts Degree.  I started working at East Detroit Animal Hospital in 1986, also with Dr. Steep. In May 2017 I joined the team at Warren Woods Veterinary as an Animal Assistant. I love caring for all the pets that come into Warren Woods Animal Hospital. I am happy to be working here with a great team that cares a lot. In my spare time at home, I enjoy going to art shows, and ferret shows with my girlfriend Christy. I also collect comics and movie posters as a hobby.
